How often are your certifications renewed?

ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications are valid for three years with annual surveillance audits. MIL-STD-461 and DEF STAN 59-411 compliance is verified with each material batch through sample testing. All test reports are updated annually or when standards are revised.

Can I receive original signed certificates?

Yes, original signed certificates are available upon request. For procurement purposes requiring original documents, please contact our quality department at quality@prometheanfoam.com. There is typically no charge for original certificates for active customers with purchase orders over $5,000.

Do you provide material traceability documentation?

Complete traceability from raw material to finished product. All defense-grade materials include Certificates of Conformance with lot numbers that trace back to raw material sources, manufacturing dates, and test results. This documentation is essential for aerospace and defense applications requiring full material pedigree.

Are your test laboratories accredited?

All testing is performed by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories. Our primary test partners include TÜV SÜD America, Eurofins EMC Laboratory, and Intertek, all accredited to perform MIL-STD, DEF STAN, and automotive EMC testing. Accreditation certificates are available upon request.

How do I verify the authenticity of your certifications?

All certificates can be verified through the issuing bodies. ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certificates can be verified through DNV GL and BSI Group's online certificate verification systems. Test reports include laboratory accreditation numbers that can be verified with the testing laboratory. For immediate verification, contact our quality department.
